A little bit of this.

Hello, my name is Kelsey and I am the administrator for the blog, Theatre-Saurus.

FAQOBKANBAE
(Frequently asked questions only by Kelsey and not by anyone else)

(1) Why did I start this blog?

Because I think there should be a blog about my school's drama program. I want to add team members to this blog so that you may hear the many amazing perspectives on drama.

(2) Who else is running this blog?

Prospective team members are:
John H.
Aaron J.
Rebecca K.
Kyrra W.
Sameer S.
And various other names of people who YOU may not know.

(3) Why are you starting this blog just after our last production for this year is done?

Because my synapses don't pick up the impulses from the brain fast enough. Simple as that.

(4) What were the plays done this year in drama?

Death Takes a Holiday: A luminous rendition of the original, Mr. Frank G. played the distant Death who falls in love with equally as remote Grazia, played by Ms. Morgan R. Although there were a few hitches in production, it was pulled off magnificently. We have a talented cast of thespians here at our school. My personal favorite character was the Baron, an old and somewhat lecherous man (acted out brilliantly by Mr. Sameer S, who was perfect for the part).
Sweeney Todd: For our spring musical, we undertook Sweeney Todd, the Demon Barber of Fleet Street.

OH. MY. DEARLAWDJEEBUS.

I think I cried a couple of times because it was so absolutely GORGEOUS.

Michael M. was Sweeney, and he was so expressive! I mean, there is nothing that pleases me more than an expressive actor. And Hannah R. was the charming Mrs. Lovett. Hannah is an impressive comedienne, and a great personality onstage. I can tell that much. The Ensemble was comprised of a huge amount of talent, all great singers, actors and hilarity. I have to say, watching Sameer be a drunk is one of the most gratifying experiences of my life, I swear.

(5) Why did you just go off on a tangent about our plays?

Because you asked, of course.

That is all for now, my loves. In all probability, this blog won't be updated much over the summer, but count on me writing when drama starts up again next fall.

To life, to life

L'Chiam!

Love,
Kelsey.
